Goupil

Goupil's (now called Boussod, Valadon & Cie), 

First located at Rue Caulaincourt, small shop dealing mainly in
engravings. Including works by:

Horace Vernet
Paul Delaroche
Ary Scheffer () ()

"Following the 3rd impressionist show, they became
interested in the movement (once is a fluke, twice a double fluke, 
3rd exhibition,hmmm...). Van Gogh  worked in the Hague branch 1865,]
later transfered to the Brussels shop, where he was replaced
by his brother, Theo prior to his transfer to the London shop.
For a while, Vincent worked in the Paris headquarters, from 
which he was dismissed the following year. ... his works 
(submitted by Theo) were rejected by the Goupil as
